ENCEA celebrating freshers welcome function on 23-10-2008

ENCEA - Electronics & Communication Engineering Association of KVGCE has arranged Fresher's welcome function and inauguration of ENCEA for 2008-2009 batch on 23-10-2008. Dr. S.G. Gopala Krishna, Principal,will inaugurate and preside over the function. Dr. P Shomashekar, Professor, MIT, Manipal, will deliver a technical talk and be the chief guest for the function. Prof. Shree Ganesh Kedilaya, HEAD-EC and other staff members and students will be present on the occasion.

SAMCA arranged fresher's welcome function on 22-10-2008

The inaugural function of KVGCE Students' Association 2008 was arranged on 24-10-2008 at 10.30 a.m. Dr. Kurunji Venktramana Gowda, Founder President, Academy of Liberal Education will inaugurate the function and Dr. Ananthapadmanabha, Special Officer, VTU, Mysore Region will be the guest of honour. Dr. S.G. Gopala Krishna, principal, KVGCE and Prof. Ramu S., Student Welfare Office will present on the occasion.

CENSA Fresher's Welcome function on 21-10-2008

CENSA arranged the welcome function for the fresher's on 21-10-2008. Dr. S.G. Gopala Krishna, presided over the function. Dr. Nagesh H.R., Head-CSE, Sridevi Institute of Technology was the guest of honour and gave a technical talk on "Information Security Management" on this occasion. Prof. Sudheer Shetty, HOD-CSE and Prof. Ravikumar M.S., HOD-ISE were present on the dias. Mr. Dinesh Gowda and Mr. Balapradeep, CENSA Staff Advisors and Prof. Rajesh D.S., were present on the occasion.

CENSA organized Cooking without fire competition

CENSA - Computer ENgineering Students Association of KVGCE has arranged "Cooking Without Fire" competition on 20-10-2008. About 19 teams consisting of both boys and girls particpated in the event. Prof. Rajesh D.S. & Mrs. Kaveri B.H. and Prof. Yogeesha H C & Mrs. Sharada Yogeesh were the judges for this competetion. Prof. Sudheer Shetty, Head - CSE and Mr. Dinesh Gowda & Mr. Balapradeep co-ordinated the event.

Civil Engineering Association of KVGCE has organized a Welcome function "AKRUTHI 2008" for Civil Engineering students on 13th October 2008. Dr. S.G. Gopala Krishna, Principal, presided over the function. Prof. Chandrashekar A was the guest of honour.

Dr. N.A. Jnanesh, Vice principal and Head(Mechanical) will be attending an International conference on Education and Information Technology 2008 from October 22 to 24, 2008 at Sanfranciso, USA for presenting a paper titled "Use of Quality Function Deployment Analysis in Curriculam development of Engineering Education and Models for curriculam design and delivery".
