Farewell function for outgoing students on 22-06-2008

Farewell function to the outgoing students of 2007-2008 batch of final year students will be held on 22-06-2008 at 11.00 am. Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda, Founder President, AOLE will be the president for the function and Dr. G. Srinikethan, Dean - Academic Affairs, NITK, Surathkal will be the chief guest. Dr. S.G. Gopala Krishna, Principal and Dr. N. A. Jnanesh, Vice Principal & Head - ME, will also be present on the occasion. All outgoing students of 2007-2008 students are invited for this function followed by lunch.

Inauguration of AICTE sponsored STTP on Modern Management Techniques in Manufacturing

AICTE-ISTE sponsored Short Term Training Programme(STTP) on Modern Management Techniques in Manufacturing has been inaugurated by Dr. Kurunji Venktramana Gowda, Founder President, AOLE. Shri Keshava Kumar, Deputy General Manager, L & T Komutsu Ltd., Bangalore was the guest of honour. Dr. S.G. Gopala Krishna, Principal, KVGCE and Dr. N.A. Jnanesh, Vice Principal & Head- Mechanical Department. were present on the dias. Prof. Ravinarayana Bhat, Assistant Professor-Mechanical Department was the master of ceremony and Prof. Sunil Kumar, Assistant Professor-Mechanical Department proposed vote of thanks.

About 30 participants from various Engineering Colleges and Polytechnics have attended the training programme which will be held from 16th to 21st of June 2008. In the morning first session, Shri Keshava Kumar, DGM, L &T, Bangalore addressed the gathering and gave a special lecture on "World Class Manufacturing". The second session was handled by Shri M.S. Bhat, Retd. Director of ISRO, Bangalore.

A new institution named KVG International Public School offering CBSE Education from 1st Standard has been started by Academy of Liberal Education, Sullia which is managing a host of educational institutes at Sullia including KVGCE. Dr. Kurunji Venktramana Gowda, Founder President, AOLE, declared the school open on 8.06.2008. Dr. Renuka Prasad K.V., General Secretary, AOLE, Shri N.A. Ramachandra, President, Taluka Pamchayat, Suillia, Shri K.R. Gangadhar, National Award Teacher, Dr. S.G. Gopala Krishna, Principal, KVGCE and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

Farewell function and valedictory of SAMCA was organized on 30-5-2008 by Department of MCA. Dr. N.A. Jnanesh, Vice principal, presided over the function. Prof. Shivakumar G S, Head - CS, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangalore was the chief guest of the function. Smt. Smitha Ujjwal, HOD-MCA and other staff members were present on the occasion.
