MEA organized a Technical Talk from Mr. M S Bhat from ISRO

A Technical Talk on "Eco Friendly Energy" by Mr. M S Bhat, Retd. Deputy Director of ISRO has been arranged by MEA-Mechanical Engineering Association of KVGCE on 29-02-2008 at 3.00 p.m. Dr. S.G. CENSA organized a Marathon Contest

CENSA - Computer Science and Engineering Students Association of KVGCE has organized a Marathon competition for all the students of KVGCE on 28-2-2008. Dr. N A Jnanesh, Vice Principal and Head - Mechanical Engineering inaugurated the event. Prof. S S Balakrishna, Head- CSE , Prof Ravikumar M S, Head- ISE, Mr. Dinesh, Mr. Balapradeep, Staff advisors of CENSA were present on the occasion. About 200 students participated.

Dr. N A Jnanesh, Vice Principal and Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, has been conferred with Doctoral Degree in the Convocation of Mangalore University.

A Technical talk was held on 27-2-2008 by Mr. Rajesh Nambair from EMC Ltd. and an alumni of KVGCE. Mr. Rajesh was Academic Alliance manager for the EMC Ltd., a Storage Technology company. Dr. S.G.Gopala Krishna, principal, Dr. N A Jnanesh, Vice principal & Head - Mechanical, Prof S S Balakrishna, Head - CSE and Prof. Shree Ganesh Kedilaya - Head - EC were present on the occasion.

E-Congregation - State level Technical Paper presentation Contest from ENCEA

E-Congregation - State level Technical paper presentation Contest organized Electronics and Communication Engineering Student's Association of KVG College of Engineering, Sullia will be organized on 29 March 2008. Students from various engineering colleges from all over the state and outside are expected to participate in the said event.

CENSA - Computer Science & Engineering Students Association of KVGCE has conducted C/C++ Quiz and Programming & Debugging Contest during the week 17-23 Feb 2008. About 100 participants from various branches of Engineering have attended this function.





NGAGEIT 2008 - National level Technical Paper presentation Contest by CENSA



NGAGEIT'08 - National level Technical Paper Presentation Contest organized by CENSA will be held on 5 April 2008. Students from various engineering colleges are expected to participate in this event. Shri Dinesh Gowda and Shri Balapradeep K N are the staff advisors for the said event.

Workshop on Career opportunities for Civil Engineering students




A one day workshop on "Placement Opportunities" for Civil Engineering students was held on 22.02.2008 at KVGCE Sullia. Dr Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda, Founder President, Academy of Liberal Educaion, Sullia, inauguarated the event. Dr. S.G. Gopala Krishna, principal presided over the function.

Workshop on Microsoft Technologies at KVGCE


One Day workshop on "Microsoft Technologies" was arranged at KVGCE in association with BITES, Bangalore and Microsoft Corporations on 7-2-2008. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda, Founder President, Academy of Liberal Education, Sullia. Dr. S.G. Gopala Krishna, Principal, presided over the function. Prof. S.S. Balakrishna, Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, welcomed the gathering. Mr. Subbaiah, student of 8th Semester CSE was the master of ceremony. Mr. Yogeesha H.C., Assistant Professor, CSE, proposed the vote of thanks.

Mr. Siddarth Prakash and Mr. Mayur Tendulkar from Microsoft Corporations, were the resource persons for the said workshop. They delivered an extensive talk on Microsoft .NET technologies and their applications in different fields such as application development, web site development, web services, mobile application development, etc. The workshop was attended by around 100 final year students of KVGCE.
